Letter Channuka has gone and another year has flown by. It
is great seeing our friends at our monthly teas and to catch up on their news
of the past month. Once again we never tire of thanking all our
volunteers who give their valuable time in helping others. For making life
easier for people who ‘need a little help from their friends’. We would also like to thank you all for your effort
to attend our teas. As often the weather is inclement and you sometimes don’t
feel at your best. Without you there, there would be no Helping Hands tea. We also thank all the people who contributed
their stories. This newsletter is for
you and about you. I must give a special thank you to Liz Shaw and
Joanne Greenwood who really made the bingo such fun at the last tea. There is a Quirky Quiz and high tea on Sunday 7th
January at the Ajex Centre, Regards Marilyn Fisher and Rhoda Scott For most of my life I have
nursed family members and until a year ago I attended the Helping Hands monthly
