Contract type: Self-employed
Hours: Approximately 30 hours per month across both organisations
Role purpose
The PR and Communications Manager is responsible for communicating the work of Helping Hands Sussex and the Sussex Jewish Representative Council clearly, warmly and consistently across their digital channels.

This includes promoting events and activities from constituent organisations, sharing relevant community information, highlighting the work of local Jewish organisations, and updating the website and social media channels.
The role requires someone who is comfortable working independently, understands the sensitivities involved in community-based and Jewish communal work, and can turn everyday activities and information into accessible and engaging content.
