Our community gathered on 30 November at the Ajex Hall for a beautiful Helping Hands Chanukah Tea. Guests were treated to delightful entertainment from Darren and Sharon. Their tunes filled the room and added a joyful sparkle to the celebration. There was plenty of browsing to enjoy as well. Stalls offered lovely Chanukah gifts and treasures. The team from Brighton and Hove Reform Shul brought colourful Chanukah candles and other festive items. Two talented jewellery sellers

What a busy Mitzvah Day we had at Helping Hands. We packed delicious soup packs with soups brought to us by our soup makers, we then packed them into bags filled with goodies including biscuits baked by BNJC's youth group and cupcakes from Brighton and Hove Reform Shul and our soup schleppers ensured they got to where they needed to go. We also took soup to Off The Fence Trust and gave biscuits to BNJC’s outreach project for vulnerable residents of Brighton and Hove!

A Celebration of Community and Friendship On 12 October, we were delighted to gather at the Ajex Hall for our Helping Hands Sukkot Tea. The room was filled with warmth, laughter, and connection as friends old and new came together to share stories, delicious food, and the joy of the season. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the afternoon so special - from the volunteers who set up and served tea, to all who joined us in the spirit of Sukkot and togetherness.
